40 Years ago, with a single Morris Minor, Market Car Hire was formed on the corner of Market Street in Nairobi. One of the first few car rental businesses in Kenya, the owners walked home when their only car was rented out. Today the company has grown to one of the largest car rental companies in Kenya.
Over the years, the company has developed its fleet, now specialising in 4X4 vehicles, in particular, the Toyota Land Cruiser. Market Car Hire boasts a fleet of over 100 cars, with a selection of large and small 4X4s, Saloon vehicles and passenger buses, all owned and maintained in house.
Our vehicles are available chauffeur driven or for self drive and are available with either fully automatic or manual transmission.
Today Market Car Hire offers a full range of vehicles for all your transport needs, be it Safari, city touring, passenger transport, airport transfer, or simply just to visit the far corners of this great Country.
